Cain (hamstring) is on track to return to the Giants' rotation after the All-Star break, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The right-hander is making a start in the (rookie-level) Arizona League on Friday, on the heels of a successful live bullpen session Tuesday. Cain will reportedly make another start in the minors next week in preparation for a post-break return to the big league team. The long ball has haunted Cain this season, as it did a year ago (1.78 HR/9 in 2015), and expectations should be generally low for him in the second half.
