Cain (2-1) was shelled for nine runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out six over 3.1 innings to take the loss Friday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Cain allowed three runs in the first inning and never got on track, leading to his first loss of the season. His poor outing broke a string of four starts in which he allowed one or fewer runs, and he'll continue to be an inconsistent fantasy option with upside, especially when he starts in a pitcher's park. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Mets.
