Brown was diagnosed with a concussion after he fell over the side wall in Wednesday's game attempting make a catch, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.

Brown will now go through MLB's concussion protocol, but it's possible he could be out for the remainder of the season. Aaron Altherr, who interim manager Pete Mackanin had indicated would see more playing time in September anyway, will take over in right field Friday and could see the majority of the starts there in Brown's absence.
