Broadway was recalled from Triple-A on Friday. While Broadway is a righty, he was recalled to take the place of veteran lefty Jeremy Affeldt, who was placed on the DL Friday. Broadway has a 1.30 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 27.2 innings at Triple-A this season, so it is likely that he will be able to miss bats at a high level with the Giants.
