Brewers signed LHP Mike Gonzalez to a one-year, $2.25 million contract. Gonzalez can earn more through incentives. He'll join fellow former Nationals reliever Tom Gorzelanny in the Brew Crew's bullpen as the club's two southpaw. Gonzalez posted a 3.03 ERA and 39/16 K/BB ratio over 35 2/3 innings with the Nats in 2012.
