Brewers released INF Juan Francisco. The 26-year-old was beat out by Lyle Overbay and Mark Reynolds this spring for the Brewers' opening at first base. Francisco slugged 18 home runs in 124 games last summer between Atlanta and Milwaukee, and shouldn't have trouble finding a new team. He owns a .731 career OPS in 298 major league games.
