Brandon Beachy went three innings without allowing a hit Wednesday as the Braves and Phillies played to a 2-2 tie in nine innings. No radar gun readings on TV today, but he didn't seem to be throwing particularly hard and a scout told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's David O'Brien that Beachy was working at 87-90 mph in the first two innings and then 85-86 mph in the third. He was effective anyway and he said he felt good afterwards, but it'd be nice to see a little more arm strength.
