Brandon Beachy (Tommy John) announced that he will be fully healthy for the start of spring training. "But he says he will pace himself during the camp's early portion," tweeted MLB.com's Mark Bowman. Beachy had Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery in June 2012 and was limited to just five starts in 2013. The 27-year-old right-hander was arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter and agreed to a one-year, $1.45 million contract in December. He posted a 3.07 ERA and 9.5 K/9 in 237 2/3 innings (41 starts) between 2010 and 2012.
