Blake Beavan (shoulder) could begin playing catch later this week. Beavan was diagnosed last week with a shoulder impingement after having to leave an outing. There's no timetable for his return. "A lot of times, it's the bursa in your shoulder," Seattle trainer Rick Griffin explained. "It becomes inflamed. When that becomes inflamed, there isn't enough room for your shoulder to move around normally. So it pinches. When you throw the baseball, especially when you follow through, you get a pinching sensation in their shoulder. So you have to get the inflammation quieted down."
