Betancourt was placed on the 15-day disabled list Monday, Partick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. It's unclear what ailment will send Betancourt to the DL, but he was rocked in his last outing Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits. The outing hinted that something was up, and now he will rest for a while, and the Rockies will use his roster spot for Monday's starter, David Hale.
