Below has signed a minor league contract with the Mets, ESPNNewYork.com reports. The deal does not include an invite to major league camp for spring training. Below spent the 2014 campaign with the Tigers' Triple-A Toledo affiliate, posting a 3.70 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 62:41 K:BB over 116.2 innings. The left-hander has put up a 4.27 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in parts of three seasons at the major league level (78 innings).
