Bell was released by the Nationals on Monday, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports. Bell stood little chance of securing a bullpen spot out of camp, and it appears his run with the Nationals has come to a close. He is now a free agent and will likely look elsewhere for another opportunity.
