Bell has signed a minor league deal including a spring training invite with the Nationals, Chris Cotillo reports. It would be a shock if Bell made the major league team out of spring training given Washington's wealth of right-handed relievers. The 37-year-old hasn't registered an ERA below 4.00 since 2011, and the well of bad teams willing to give him save opportunities has completely dried. He will likely start at Triple-A Syracuse and could be called up in the event of an injury, but there is no way the Nats are giving him a role anything near closer or set-up man, giving him virtually no fantasy value.
