Magill (shoulder) became a free agent Thursday after refusing an outright assignment to Triple-A Tacoma.

Magill struggled in his 11 relief appearances this season, posting a 6.10 ERA in 10.1 innings. He strained his shoulder in late August and wound up requiring surgery.
