Baker (oblique) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday retroactive to July 8. Baker's move to the disabled list isn't too surprising, as the All-Star break will provide extra rest without missing extra games. He'll be eligible to rejoin the team July 23, with newly-signed Casey McGehee taking his place on the 25-man in a corresponding move.
