Greene agreed Wednesday with the Dodgers on a minor-league contract, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a rough start to the season in Atlanta in 2021, Greene was eventually cut loose in August and signed a big-league deal with the Dodgers shortly thereafter. The 33-year-old righty reliever picked up a save in just his second appearance with Los Angeles, but he quickly fell out of manager Dave Roberts' circle of trust before he was released one week before the regular season concluded after giving up three earned runs on three hits and five walks over 6.2 innings. Though he's back with the Dodgers for spring training, Greene will likely be on the outside looking in for a spot in the team's Opening Day bullpen.
