Aybar (foot) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

Less than a week removed from officially landing on the DL, Aybar is ready to return to active competition. He suffered a bruised right foot as result of a hit-by-pitch late last month, but Aybar appears on track to be activated when first eligible.
