Aybar (foot) was activated from the 10-day DL on Friday, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

It isn't clear whether Aybar is ready for game action as of yet, or if the club made this move since keeping the shortstop on the disabled list has no real use now that rosters have expanded. He's been out since late July after fracturing his foot, and could remain sidelined for another couple weeks.
