Aybar remains sidelined by the abdominal soreness he has dealt with of late. He is no longer the Tigers' regular shortstop with with Jose Iglesias back in action, but the injury has still likely cost him some playing time given Ian Kinsler's finger injury and the revolving door that is currently being used at third base.
