Romo is away from the team to be with his wife and newborn baby but is expected to return Wednesday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Romo has made just three Cactus League appearances, with none coming in the last week. There hasn't been any indication that he won't be ready for the start of the regular season, however.
