Aviles agreed to terms with the Tigers on Friday, ESPN's Buster Olney reports.
EDGE Analysis
A true utility player, Aviles was going to be a tad more expensive than Jose Ramirez, so the Indians opted to let him go. His versatility, more than his ability at the plate, is the selling point, so he probably won't offer much fantasy value in 2016. Last year he slashed .231/.282/.317 with five home runs in 317 plate appearances with the Indians.
