Andy Dirks (hamstring) is back in the Tigers' starting lineup Thursday against the Athletics. Dirks sat out Wednesday's game with a sore left hamstring, which has been a lingering issue for him this season. The 26-year-old currently has a streak of four straight multi-hit games.
