Andrew Brown went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Thursday's loss to the Cubs. The outfielder was recalled from Triple-A prior to the ballgame and wasted no time making a contribution. Brown's seventh-inning shot off of Justin Grimm knotted the game up at 4-4. He has two on the season along with seven RBI and a .200/.286/.433 slash line in 35 plate appearances at the big league level.
