Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon (back) is out of the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Gordon was hit by a pitch on Wednesday and is now dealing with a nerve issue in his back. Terrance Gore will cover left field and bat eighth versus lefty Matthew Boyd. Gore is not worth a look in DFS contests or fantasy leagues. Gordon is considered day-to-day at the moment, but could land on the injured list.
