Adam Kennedy (groin) is scheduled to serve as the designated hitter in a minor league game Saturday. Kennedy hasn't played since suffering a right groin strain during Sunday's game. If all goes well on Saturday, he could return to the Cactus League lineup as soon as Sunday. The 36-year-old signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Dodgers this offseason after batting .234/.277/.355 with seven homers and 38 RBI last season with the Mariners. He is expected to serve as a utility infielder this season.
