Ackley (shoulder) has not yet been cleared to throw in spring training, but he has started taking ground balls, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.

EDGE Analysis

Ackley is still recovering from surgery in June 2016 to repair a torn labrum. If he is able to secure a spot on the Halos' roster he will be strictly used for depth.
