According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays are working on possible J.P. Arencibia trades. Toronto signed free agent catcher Dioner Navarro to a two-year, $8 million contract on Monday and will use him as the everyday catcher going forward. Arencibia is a poor defender and owns a horrendous .258 career on-base percentage, but he possesses a decent power bat and is only 27 years old. The Blue Jays should be able to find a taker eventually.
