Henry Urrutia is off to a blistering start in the Arizona Fall League, hitting .471/.550/.588 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base through his first six games (17 at-bats). The 26-year-old Cuban defector had an extremely impressive 2013 campaign in the minor leagues, but hit just .276/.276/.310 with two RBI and 11 strikeouts in his brief 58 at-bat audition with the Orioles. He'll compete in spring training to be the O's everyday DH heading into the 2014 season, and could be relevant in fantasy leagues should he secure that gig.

Orioles optioned DH/OF Henry Urrutia to Triple-A Norfolk. Urrutia struggled during his brief time with the Orioles, hitting .269/.269/.308 with a pair of RBI and nine strikeouts in 52 at-bats. He'll presumably return to punishing Triple-A pitching as he awaits another opportunity with the big league club.

Henry Urrutia went 1-for-4 with an RBI against the Rangers in his major league debut Saturday. Urrutia had an RBI single as part of the Orioles' four-run third inning. As a left-handed hitter, he'll probably sit Sunday against the Rangers' Martin Perez. He should have some value in AL-only leagues going forward, but we're skeptical that he'll be of much use in mixed leagues.
