Fowler is not in Sunday's lineup against the Reds.

Fowler went 3-for-6 with a double, a home run, four RBI and two runs scored Friday night against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler delivered a three-run home run over the fence in right center during the second inning, and he tacked on an insurance run in the sixth on an RBI single. The 33-year-old appears to be seeing the ball well at the dish of late, raising his batting average from .240 to .250 while collecting six extra-base hits and seven RBI over his last 11 contests.

Fowler entered Sunday's win over the Pirates as a defensive replacement in the fifth inning and went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler's 399-foot shot to left center with Tommy Edman aboard in the eighth gave the Cardinals some valuable breathing room by extending their lead to 11-8. The veteran outfielder now has a six-game hitting streak during which he's generated four extra-base hits (three doubles, one homer) and two multi-hit efforts.

Fowler went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs in a win over the Pirates on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler set the table effectively on two occasions out of the top of the order, extending a solid multi-game stretch of hitting in the process. The veteran is 6-for-15 with three doubles and Friday's pair of runs over his last four games, and he's now reached 30 extra-base hits for the campaign after managing just 18 during an abysmal 2018 season.

Fowler will lead off and cover center field Wednesday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler set the table versus lefty Clayton Kershaw in Tuesday's 3-1 loss, going 2-for-4 with a double in the contest. The outfielder's inclusion atop the lineup Wednesday is more notable considering the Dodgers will bring a righty (Dustin May) to the hill for the series finale, perhaps signaling that Cardinals skipper Mike Shildt has at least temporarily pulled the plug on the struggling Matt Carpenter as the club's leadoff man. Fowler sports a middling .282 on-base percentage since the All-Star break, so he'll likely need to string several quality performances in a row before gaining security in the leadoff role.

Fowler (foot) is starting in center field and batting second Tuesday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler didn't start Saturday or Sunday after suffering a foot injury Friday night, but he made a pinch-hit appearance Sunday and sent the ball flying over the fence. Following a scheduled off day Monday, he'll be ready to roll for the Cardinals' series opener with the Cubs.

Fowler (foot) entered Sunday's loss to the Astros as a pinch hitter in the ninth inning and hit a solo home run in his one at-bat.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler was sitting for Sunday's game despite a CT scan on his sore foot coming back negative, but he was obviously healthy enough to be called upon for hitting purposes in the ninth Sunday. Fowler responded in fine fashion, with the veteran outfielder leaving the yard for the second time in three games. Given the 33-year-old was available off the bench and the Cardinals have a day off Monday, it would appear he has a solid chance of re-entering the starting lineup Tuesday for the start of a three-game series against the Cubs.

Fowler (foot) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler is considered day-to-day after a CT scan Saturday came back negative, but he won't rejoin Sunday's starting nine. The 33-year-old fouled a ball off his foot Friday, and it's no surprise to see the Cardinals remaining cautious with Monday's scheduled off day. Harrison Bader receives the start in center field in his absence.

Manager Mike Shildt said Fowler is day-to-day after a CT scan on his foot came back negative, Rob Rains of StLSportsPage.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fowler has escaped with a bruise after fouling a ball off his foot Friday. While the veteran outfielder isn't in the starting lineup Saturday as a result, it doesn't sound like the issue will force him to miss any significant amount of time. Yairo Munoz is starting in place of Fowler on Saturday.
