It makes sense, given Young's 2-for-10 career mark against Thursday's starter Jeremy Hellickson, but Young figures to continue seeing at least semi-regular playing time.

Young went 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, one run scored, one double and one walk Monday against the Rays. Young has seen more playing time in August, but it hasn't resulted in increased production as he has seen his batting average decrease from .328 to .311. He has not hit over .300 since 2006 as a member of the Rays, so he may be starting to come back down to earth.

While Young has posted just a .682 OPS against southpaws this season, he's a .301/.338/.467 career hitter against lefties.
