Brewers optioned OF Caleb Gindl to Triple-A Nashville. Gindl went 5-for-19 (.263) with an RBI and a stolen base during his short time with the Brewers. He'll continue to serve as organizational depth at the Triple-A level, but remains a non-factor in fantasy leagues.

Caleb Gindl will make his first major league start on Thursday afternoon against the Astros. Gindl was promoted from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday after batting .274/.341/.456 with eight home runs and 38 RBI over 64 games in the Pacific Coast League. He will bat ninth and play left field in his MLB debut.

Brewers recalled OF Caleb Gindl from Triple-A Nashville. The move was actually made prior to Saturday's game when Ryan Braun went on the DL. Gindl will provide depth while Braun is out but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

The Brewers will recall Caleb Gindl from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday to replace Ryan Braun on the active roster. Gindl will be making his major league debut. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting .274/.341/.456 with eight homers and 38 RBI through 64 games at Triple-A. It's unclear how the playing time will shake out in the wake of Braun's trip to the disabled list, but he's worth a look in deeper NL-only formats.

Brewers purchased the contract of OF Caleb Gindl from Triple-A Nashville. A former fifth-round pick, Gindl is coming off a nice year for Nashville, as he batted .307/.390/.472 with 15 homers and 60 RBI over 472 at-bats. The 23-year-old is likely an extra outfielder over the long haul and should get a shot to win a bench spot in spring training.

Triple-A Nashville's Caleb Gindl hit for the cycle on Sunday. Gindl became the third player to hit for the cycle in the Sounds' 34-year history. The right fielder is now hitting .281 with 12 homers in 265 at-bats with Nashville.
