Duensing signed a minor league contract with Baltimore on Monday, Rich Dubroff of Comcast SportsNet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing found a new home rather quickly, after he opted out of his minor league contract with Kansas City last week. The veteran compiled a 3.10 ERA in 12 relief appearances this season with Triple-A Omaha, the Royals' affiliate. Duensing will likely serve as organizational depth for Baltimore, who traded reliever Brian Matusz to Atlanta on Monday.

Duensing opted out of his Triple-A contract with Kansas City, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing had a May 15 opt-out in his contract if he wasn't on the major league roster. He'll seek a major league contract with another team. He was sharp at Triple-A Omaha with a 3.10 ERA and 19:5 K:BB ratio in 20.1 innings.

Duensing resigned with the Royals on a minor league contract Friday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing struggled in his few appearances in Royals camp, but he'll sign back into the organization after he was released Monday. That being said, he'll likely spend 2016 with Triple-A Omaha acting as organizational depth.

The Royals released Duensing on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing missed a brief stretch this spring due to an ankle contusion, but in three appearances since his return, he struggled to the tune of three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out zero in 3.1 innings. The left-handed reliever will likely garner some interest on the open market, though a minor league contract is likely the best-case scenario.

Duensing (ankle) threw two scoreless innings in Saturday's split squad win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing was hit in the ankle by a comebacker Wednesday, but it doesn't look any concern. He's having a good spring (2 ER in seven innings with 10 strikeouts) and remains in the mix for one of the final bullpen spots.

Duensing is day-to-day after suffering an ankle contusion in Wednesday's spring training game, Josh Vernier of 610 Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing was hit in the ankle by a comebacker Wednesday and although he stayed in to face two more batters, he ultimately had to leave the game with the bases loaded. He'll likely sit out a couple of days before returning to the mound once the soreness in his ankle subsides.

Duensing signed a minor league deal with the Royals on Thursday, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Duensing struggled in 2015, posting just a 4.25 ERA in 48.7 innings of work for the Twins. After spending his entire seven-year career with Minnesota, the 32-year-old will move on and try to make an impression in the Royals organization. The strength of the Royals' bullpen means Duensing will have to step his game up in 2016 if he wants to become a significant contributor.

Duensing retired the only batter he faced in Monday's win over Baltimore. He hasn't give up a run in his last eight innings over six appearances to lower his ERA to 6.30. Duensing had a terrible start to the season as he gave up nine earned runs and had just a 5:6 K:BB ratio in 10.2 innings in April and May. Duensing has been outstanding against left-handed batters in his career (.609 OPS allowed), but lefties have an .837 OPS against him this year. The Twins have been searching for a lefty specialist as a result with Ryan O'Rourke called from Triple-A to audition for the role. Duensing could move into more high-leverage roles if his recent hot streak continues.

Duensing (oblique) was activated from the disabled list Friday, Tyler Mason of FOX Sports North reports. Duensing spent the minimum amount of time on the DL due to a right intercostal strain. Expect him to resume his role as the Twins' top left-handed setup man.

Duensing (oblique) is on track to be activated from the disabled list for Saturday's game against the White Sox, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Duensing will apparently be ready right around the 15-day minimum, as his bullpen sessions have thus far gone well. He should be a useful lefty for the Minnesota bullpen, but he only has two saves and 23 holds since converting to a full-time reliever at the beginning of 2013.
