Revere is not in the lineup Thursday against the Reds, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following a stretch of six straight starts, Revere will head back to the bench, despite gathering seven hits in that span. Michael Taylor will draw the start in center field in his stead Thursday, batting lead off against the left-handed Brandon Finnegan.

Revere went 4-for-5 with three runs, an RBI and three steals Monday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Washington played a lot of small ball to accrue its eleven runs, and Revere was right in the middle of those efforts with his four singles. The speedy leadoff man has finally come alive on the base paths of late, with eight of his 10 steals coming in the past 10 games. His value will skyrocket if that outburst is a sign of things to come following a 31-steal 2015 campaign.

Revere is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Dusty Baker said that Revere would be platooning with Michael Taylor after Sunday's game, with Revere starting against right-handers and Taylor facing left-handers. That being said, Revere started Tuesday's game against southpaw Scott Kazmir, going 0-for-5. But with the Nationals facing left-handed Julio Urias on Wednesday, Revere is out of the lineup as Taylor gets the start in center.

Revere got the start in center field Tuesday against Dodgers left-hander Scott Kazmir, going 0-for-5.
EDGE Analysis
Nats manager Dusty Baker suggested on the weekend that he'd be using a more strict platoon in center field between Revere and Michael Taylor, but with the team slated to face three straight lefties during the Dodgers' series, Baker apparently had second thoughts about sitting Revere for three straight games. Tuesday's performance won't do anything to encourage Baker to start Revere against lefties going forward, however, so expect the platoon to remain in place as long as Taylor keeps producing when he gets his chances.

Nationals manager Dusty Baker said after Sunday's game that Michael Taylor would start in center field against left-handed pitching going forward, with Revere starting only against right-handers, The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
That puts Revere on the bench for the entire upcoming series against the Dodgers, as the Nats will face three left-handed starters (Clayton Kershaw, Scott Kazmir and Julio Urias). Revere's actually hit well against lefties in a tiny sample this season (.364/.423/.591 in 22 at-bats) and hasn't shown a platoon split during his career, so this move seems to be more about Taylor than it does Revere. If Taylor keeps improving, Revere could be in danger of losing even more playing time to the youngster.

Revere is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Revere will be absent for the second time in three days, as he'll once again give way to Michael Taylor in center field. Revere recorded two hits Saturday, and owns a .296 batting average in June, though he has just two extra-base hits on the month.

Revere is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Padres, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Michael Taylor will take over in center field and atop the batting order with the Nats facing a lefty in Christian Friedrich. Revere is still batting just .207/.259/.276 for the season, but he's shown some signs of life lately with 14 hits in his last nine starts. He's also swiped four bags in his last four games.

Revere went 0-for-4 in Thursday's win over the Padres but drew a walk, scored two runs and stole his sixth base of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Six steals doesn't seem like a lot, but four of them have come in the last four games as Revere finally seems to be getting comfortable in a Nationals' uniform. His slow start could make it difficult for him to reach 30 SB for the fifth time in his career, but if you need a speed boost over the final three-plus months of the year he's worth targeting.

Revere went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a pair of steals in Monday's 4-1 triumph over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Revere was expected to be a major steals threat after swiping 80 bags over the past two seasons, but has just four through 33 appearances. The leadoff man's lack of power makes him an unappealing option when he's not doing damage with his legs, but perhaps this performance against Cubs catcher Miguel Montero will get him going on the basepaths.

Revere is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Phillies, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Between left and center field, Revere typically works his way into Dusty Baker's lineup on most days, but he'll sit Sunday with the Nationals facing southpaw Adam Morgan. Revere is actually hitting a respectable 8-for-20 against left-handed pitching this season, but Baker will play matchups in this one, employing an all-right-handed outfield of Jayson Werth (left), Michael Taylor (center) and Chris Heisey (right).
