Alfonso Soriano blasted a three-run homer and a solo shot in Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays. The longballs were Soriano's 399th and 400th of his career. In 30 games for the Yankees this season, Soriano is already tied for the team lead for right-handed batters with 11 dingers. He's now gone deep 30 times this season, giving him a good shot at a second straight 30-homer campaign.

Alfonso Soriano went 1-for-3 with a game-winning two-run home run to give the Yankees a 4-2 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday. Soriano had gone hitless in 13 at-bats over his last three games after his torrid streak last week, but his eighth inning homer broke a 2-2 tie and put the Yankees ahead for good on Wednesday. The homer was his 26th of the season and his ninth in 95 at-bats since being dealt to the Bombers.

Alfonso Soriano's incredible week continued Friday against the Red Sox, as he finished 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored. If that wasn't enough, Soriano also stole a base. The veteran has now driven in 18 runs over his last four games, which ties the MLB record. He appears rejuvenated in his return to pinstripes.

Alfonso Soriano went 4-for-5 with an RBI single and a run scored in Thursday's loss to the Angels. He nearly had a second RBI when he singled in the bottom of the ninth, but Brett Gardner was held at third base for some reason. Alfonso Soriano had four hits, including a walkoff RBI single, in the Yankees' win over the Rays on Sunday. It was a massive day for the former Yankee, who singled and scored in the first inning, hit a two-run shot in the third inning, singled to left field in the seventh inning and played the hero with a game-winning single to center field in the bottom of the ninth. He got a nice fantasy boost when he was traded into the power-friendly American League East and is a must-own again in standard mixed formats.

Alfonso Soriano went 0-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Rays in his first game since being traded to the Yankees. Batting cleanup in his return to the Bronx, Soriano had plenty of chances to do damage, but he could only muster a run-scoring fielder's choice in the ninth inning. With the way Travis Hafner has faded, Soriano should get most of the at-bats out of the DH spot after Curtis Granderson comes of the disabled list. Playing in the hitter-friendly ballparks of the AL East, a big second half wouldn't be a surprise.

Yankees acquired OF Alfonso Soriano and cash considerations from the Cubs for RHP Corey Black. Soriano is set to bat cleanup in his return to the Bronx on Friday against the Rays. The Cubs will reportedly pay roughly $17.7 million of the approximately $24.5 million remaining on his contract. The Yankees have struggled miserably from the right side of the plate, so Soriano should be an upgrade. The 37-year-old is batting .254/.287/.467 with 17 home runs and 51 RBI through 93 games this season and holds an .806 OPS against left-handed pitching. He'll likely play left field for now and shift over to the DH spot once Curtis Granderson comes off the disabled list.
