Presley was designated for assignment Saturday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jose Iglesias' return from the DL on Saturday, the Tigers cleared a spot by designating Presley for assignment. The 31-year-old outfielder hadn't appeared in any of the Tigers' last five games and was hitting a mere .198 at the big league level on the season. He'll now be subject to waivers but he could return to the Tigers organization if he goes unclaimed.

Presley was officially recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The versatile outfielder has struggled at the plate this season, slashing just .198/.271/.564 across 47 games for the Brewers earlier this season. He's fared much better at the Triple-A level, batting .314 with 15 RBI, 23 walks and 26 strikeouts in 172 at-bats. In order to clear room on the roster, the Tigers designated right-hander Bobby Parnell for assignment Thursday morning.

Presley will be recalled by the Tigers on Thursday, Matthew B. Mowery of The Oakland Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Tigers reportedly have no candidates to move to the 60-day DL and Mowery indicates the likely move will be the team designating someone for assignment. Presley doesn't provide much in terms of either power at the plate or speed on the basepaths and hit just .198/.271/.564 over 47 games with the Brewers earlier in the season, but has seen some success at Triple-A. He can also play all three outfield positions.

Presley was signed by the Tigers on Saturday, Katie Strang of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Presley will likely be on his way to Triple-A Toledo after signed a deal with the Tigers. He was designated for assignment by the Brewers on June 28 and elected to go into free agency instead of heading to their Triple-A club. Presley was hitting .198/.271/.293 with three home runs and 11 RBI during 116 at-bats for the Brewers this season.

Presley refused an outright assignment to Triple-A Colorado Springs and elected free agency Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Presley had been underperforming the last two months, slashing .138/.211/.154 since May 12 leading to the Brewers designating him for assignment on Tuesday. The 30-year-old went through waivers unclaimed but instead of accepting an outright assignment, he chose to enter free agency. Given his relatively young age and moderate success in the majors (career .253 BA) it's likely he'll get picked up by another squad in need of outfield depth.

Presley was designated for assignment Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder had seen his playing time dwindle in the weeks leading up to his DFA on Tuesday, as he'd only recorded multiple at-bats in a game twice in June. Furthermore, he was unable to do much with his limited playing time, slashing a mere .108/.175/.135 over the last 30 days. Jake Elmore, who is slashing .320/.428/.380 at Triple-A Colorado Springs, was selected Tuesday to take Presley's spot on the roster.

Presley is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
This is the 30-year-old's second consecutive day off. Manager Craig Counsell could be looking to give Presley a mental break given he is just 5-for-38 in his last 13 games. Ramon Flores will get the start in his place.

Presley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Presley has had two hits in his last 19 at-bats, and his batting average went from .308 in April, to .200 in May. Due to his struggles, he'll concede right field to Ramon Flores, who will bat sixth against left-handed starter Jaime Garcia.

Presley is not in Friday's lineup for the series opener against the Reds.
