Loup is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although he's thrown just 19.2 innings across 20 games with Triple-A Buffalo, Loup has had an impressive year. He owns a 1.83 ERA and 1.22 WHIP at the Triple-A level and has walked only three batters. Unfortunately, he hasn't had as much luck with the big club, where he has an ERA and WHIP of 7.45 and 1.34, respectively.

Loup was DFA'd by the Blue Jays on Saturday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loup spent less than a week with the Blue Jays during this latest stint with the big league club. Across two appearances (3.2 innings), Loup allowed seven hits and four earned runs, while striking out three and walking two. In a corresponding move, the Blue Jays recalled Bo Schultz from Triple-A Buffalo.

The Blue Jays recalled Loup from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Loup will take the roster spot of Aaron Sanchez, who will head to the minors before making his next big-league start in 10 days. Loup will work primarily as a left-handed specialist for the Blue Jays, though he could pitch an inning here or there if needed.

Loup was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Loup has been up and down a couple times already this season, recently being brought back up to the Blue Jays on July 2. During his time in the big leagues this season, he has posted a 6.00 ERA with a 0.67 WHIP during six innings of work, striking out eight batters but allowing two home runs. He has had a little better go of things in the minors, and will likely be back with the team at some point this year.

Loup made nine appearances in relief during the first half of the season, posting a 6.75 ERA and 0.75 WHIP with seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The left-handed specialist got a late start to his season, as he was not activated from the DL (elbow) until May 28. He pitched decently, but was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo in mid-June. Loup was recalled at the beginning of July and notched two flawless outings, in one of which he earned his first hold of the year. The 28-year-old had amassed 22 holds and four saves combine in 2014 and 2015 while appearing in 60-plus games both seasons, but Loup appears to be a non-factor in the team's plans for 2016.

Loup was recalled Saturday prior to the game against the Indians, Toronto play-by-play announcer Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loup was recently optioned a couple weeks ago, spending time with Triple-A Buffalo posting a 2-0 record with no earned runs over eight innings of work. During his time at the major league level this season, the 28-year-old has compiled a 3.60 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP in 10 innings out of the bullpen.

Loup was optioned Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loup appears to be shaking off some rust as he's given up three earned runs along with a blown save in three innings since his recall. While he's only given up three hits over that three-inning span, two of those have gone by way of the long ball. The 28-year-old reliever will likely head to Triple-A Buffalo now to sharpen up his mechanics.

In his first appearance for the Jays since October 4, Loup (elbow) struck out the only two batters he faced Saturday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Nobody could be more happy to see Loup back in action (he was activated Saturday before the game) than Jays manager John Gibbons, who has had to bear the brunt of a crumbling bullpen in the early goings. Gibbons called on Loup with two runners on and only one-out in the seventh, and the left-hander delivered. Moving forward, Loup should be a valuable source of holds as a left-handed specialist.

Loup (elbow) was activated from the 15-day disabled list on Satruday, Toronto play-by-play announcer Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
Loup has been out of action since spring training due to a forearm issue. His recovery appears to have gone according to plan, as he had an expected return date of late May. The Blue Jays have also placed Troy Tulowitzki on the DL in a corresponding move. Loup saw his ERA dip to 4.46 in the 2015 season.
