Ruggiano is out of the lineup Friday against the Mets. There has been no word of a setback with the groin injury that has cost Ruggiano time recently, but it seems the team will be mindful of his workload in the short-term as to avoid aggravation. Ryan Sweeney will draw the start in right field against right-hander Zack Wheeler.
