Encarnacion (quad) will be activated from the 15-day disabled list Friday, Sportsnet reports. Encarnacion was expected to rejoin the Blue Jays on Friday, and that now appears to be the case. The club already got back Adam Lind earlier in the week, and now the other half of the first base and DH platoon will return as well. Anthony Gose will be optioned to make room for the 31 year-old.
