Dickey served up a two-run homer in the first inning of Wednesday's loss to the Mariners, but was otherwise effective, shutting the opposition out over his final five frames. Dickey was rather shaky in allowing seven hits and walking four, but aside from Kendrys Morales' long ball, he was otherwise able to steer clear of damage, stranding at least two runners on three separate occasions. However, his offense wasn't able to drum up any run support against Mariners starter Hisashi Iwakuma, resulting in Dickey's season record dropping to 9-12.
