Tulowitzki will undergo labral repair surgery Friday on his left hip and will miss the rest of the season, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports. It was believed that Tulowitzki would be able to return at some point in August, but it appears his injury was more serious that originally expected, and he will not play again this season. With Tulowitzki sidelined, Josh Rutledge figures to be the Rockies' primary shortstop the rest of the way.
