Infante went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored against the D-backs on Thursday night. Since the All-Star break, Infante has started every game for the Royals while locking into the No. 2 spot in the batting order. With that placement in the lineup, he should provide a few extra runs scored barring a change of heart from manager Ned Yost. Infante is hitting just .263/.303/.360 in the first season of a four-year, $28.25 million pact with the Royals.
