Hellickson tossed seven strong innings Wednesday afternoon against the A's, surrendering just one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts en route to his first victory of the season. It now appears safe to say that Hellickson is back. After spending the first three months of the season on the DL, the 27-year-old hurler pitched reasonably well across his first three starts of the season, but was masterful on Wednesday afternoon in Oakland. Hellickson found the zone with 62-of-99 pitches and was virtually unscathed outside of an Eric Sogard homer in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Rays' right-hander will carry a 2.61 ERA into Tuesday's showdown with the Rangers.
