Jose Reyes stole a base, homered, and doubled in a run in five at-bats as the Jays slugged their way to a win against the Red Sox on Tuesday. For Reyes, the two extra-base hits equaled his total over the previous two weeks. His solo shot in the sixth inning off of Jake Peavy gave the Jays a 2-0 lead. He added some insurance in the eighth with an RBI double to make it 7-1. The shortstop is now sporting a .276/.326/.420 slash line with eight home runs, 32 RBI, and 19 stolen bases.
