Sabathia cancelled an appointment with Dr. James Andrews but saw Dr. Neal ElAttrache and Dr. Keith Meister as he sought second and third opinions on his ailing right knee. The worry is that he could require microfracture surgery, which would end his season and possibly put his career in doubt.
