Alex Gordon (wrist) is aiming to return to the Royals' starting lineup on Friday in Boston. Gordon missed the final four games of the first half because of a sprained right wrist and will not participate in Tuesday's All-Star Game despite being named to the American League squad. He plans to test his wrist with a full workout Thursday in Kansas City before the Royals travel to Fenway Park for a weekend series.
