Yankees manager Joe Girardi said Friday that it's "fair to say" CC Sabathia (knee) won't return this season. Sabathia had a setback during his rehab assignment earlier this week and Girardi conceded that it's "always a possibility" the left-hander could need microfracture surgery on his right knee. The skipper also acknowledged that such a procedure could potentially threaten Sabathia's career. Sabathia underwent an MRI and is slated to visit with Dr. James Andrews on July 14 before a gameplan is mapped out.
