Sergio Romo came on in relief of Madison Bumgarner in the ninth inning to close out the Diamondbacks on Sunday. An error and a hit left two on with nobody out for Romo, who allowed an inherited run to score before slamming the door. Romo had a tough couple of games against the Rockies in mid-June, but he's turned in two straight scoreless innings the past two days. He's still not as dominant as he had been prior to the rough patch, and he may benefit from a few days' rest over the upcoming All-Star break.
