Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that Matt Wieters' (elbow) throwing session Thursday went "OK." Wieters is coming along slowly but surely, but he's yet to take a big leap forward that the Orioles were hoping for. The club has set July 1 as a deadline for when a decision needs to be made about the possibility of surgery for the catcher. He's not expected back for at least a couple weeks.
