Diamondbacks placed RHP David Hernandez on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to March 27, with a torn right elbow ligament. Hernandez will visit Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on his right elbow Monday, at which point it's likely Tommy John surgery will be recommended. He'll obviously miss the 2014 season.
