Kris Medlen is undergoing a second opinion on his right arm Tuesday morning. Medlen's MRI on Monday disclosed ligament damage. To what extend, we aren't yet sure. Dr. James Andrews was preparing to give Medlen a second opinion, but he's been jumped in line. Braves general manager Frank Wren said Medlen will be evaluated by the vaunted practitioner later this week. "For us to put a complete diagnosis on it now would be premature," Wren said. Medlen missed nearly all of the 2011 season while coming back from Tommy John surgery and returned to log a dynamite 2.47 ERA over 335 innings the past two campaigns.
